I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel right by the lake, offering breathtaking views. The traditional Japanese bedroom style was a unique experience sleeping on a futon on a tatami mat, adding to the overall authenticity of the stay. The amenities in the room were thoughtful and exceeded my expectations, with separate slippers for the toilet and bedroom, multiple yukata robes, and a tea set. The hotel's onsen on the 9th floor was a highlight, providing a great view and a relaxing atmosphere. The souvenir shop was extensive, offering a range of treats and unique items, like wooden palm massagers.
All aspects of my stay were satisfactory.

The location of the hotel was great, with beautiful views of the frozen lake and snow-capped mountains. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of dishes to choose from, and the hot springs were open 24 hours a day, which was convenient.
The service was very poor, especially during the busy New Year period. The staff were unresponsive to requests and seemed to be understaffed.

The location of this hotel gives you breathtaking views of the lake and nearby shopping. the rooms are very comfortable, with great views, and the breakfast is diverse and delicious. the staff is helpful and accommodating, they quickly fix any problems with the bathroom or room. the onsen spa on the top floor offers great views of the surrounding area.
The hotel could improve on monitoring guests who are new to onsen etiquette, and start investing more in renovating the older areas of the hotel.

Great Views and Satisfying Meals! If you're looking for a room with a view, this hotel definitely delivers. You'll get breathtaking views of the lake from your room. We also enjoyed the generous portions of meals, including both Japanese and Western cuisine.
Aging facilities and Language barriers the hotel's facilities could use some updating and repair, and there were a few areas that were in need of attention. the language barrier between guests and some of the staff was also a bit of a challenge at times.
